This may sound not healthy but actually it is a light plate and can be served as main dish for lunch and dinner or brunch along with some fresh seasonal salads. It is very good with some light ale's and some fresh fruity table wines.

Recipe Ingredients for Black Pudding from Olga's Healthy Choice

220 g Black Pudding
20 g unsalted butter
1 tbsp Omega-3 with Extra Virgin Olive Oil Buttery Spread
1 small onion
1 medium apple
5 dates
3 small potatoes

Recipe Directions for Black Pudding from Olga's Healthy Choice

  1. Boil potatoes, get cooled.

  2. Slice onions and let it get golden colour in a pan in oil and butter mixture. Then add sliced or cubed potatoes and let them fry slightly. Add sliced apples and fry them in the same way. Then add dates (fresh or dried). Fry the mixture a few minutes in medium heat.

  3. Move this mixture to one side of the pan to have place for pudding slices. Then add black pudding slices. Just fry both sides about less then a minute.

  4. Turn the heat off and Bon Appetit!
