I haven't tried these yet, but they looked scrumptious! I changed all of the ingredients to lower fat/lower sugar to make it healthier. I will update my description once I have tried them.

Recipe Ingredients for Black Forest Stuffed Cupcakes - 3 weight watcher points

18 1/2 oz package chocolate cake mix
12 oz. can Diet Sprite Zero
8 oz. package fat free cream cheese, softened
1 egg
2 tbl Splenda
20 oz cherry pie filling, divided
24 servings (1.5 cups) COOL WHIP FREE

Recipe Directions for Black Forest Stuffed Cupcakes - 3 weight watcher points

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare cake batter using mix and Diet Sprite only. (No eggs, no water or oil). Set aside.

  2. Mix cream cheese, egg and sugar until well blended.

  3. Remove 3/4 cup of the pie filling for garnish; set aside. Spoon 2 tablespoons of the cake batter into each of 24 paper lined medium muffin cups. Top each with 1 tablespoon each of cream cheese mixture and remaining pie filling. Cover evenly with remaining cake batter.

  4. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes; remove from pans to wire racks. Cool completely. Top cupcakes with whipped topping and remaining pie filling just before serving.
