Black beans and kidney beans are the beans I typically use so the nutritional information may be slightly inaccurate. I also try to keep sodium down when buying the beans or tomatoes. I usually get the diced canned tomatoes.

Recipe Ingredients for Black and Beef Chili

1 pound ground beef, browned
2 cans (15-ounces) beans, drained
2 cup diced tomatoes
1 cups chopped onion
2 tbsp chili seasoning mix

Recipe Directions for Black and Beef Chili

  1. Brown beef and onions.

  2. Combine beef, onions, beans, tomatoes with juice, and chili seasoning in slow cooker. Cover; cook on LOW 4 to 4 1/2 hour.s.
