Recipe Ingredients for Black Beans and Sausage

454 grams black beans (1 package)
1 onion
2 celery stalks
3 tablespoons canola oil
5 cloves garlic
8 ounces smoked sausage
2 teaspoons salt

Recipe Directions for Black Beans and Sausage

Rinse and soak the beans overnight. Rinse again. Saute the onions and celery. Add the beans and enough water to cover. Heat to boiling. Cover and simmer 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Serve over brown rice.
