Recipe Ingredients for Black Beans & Rice

3/4 c black beans
1 cup Whole Grain Brown
1/3 onion, chopped
1 tsp garlic
1 tsp cumin
1/8 tsp hot pepper flakes
1/2 tsp paprika

Recipe Directions for Black Beans & Rice

  1. Bring beans, onion, garlic, and seasonings to a boil.

  2. Cover and boil 1 hour.

  3. Add rice and 1 more cup water.

  4. Continue cooking 15 - 20 minutes until rice is cooked through and water is absorbed.
