Black beans and rice, spiced with peppers and hot sauce.

Recipe Ingredients for Black Beans and Rice

15 oz Black Beans, Canned
1 tbsp Olive Oil
3/4 cup, chopped Onions
1/2 cup chopped Green Bell Pepper
1 cup, chopped or sliced Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
1/2 teaspoon Thyme
1 tsp Garlic Salt
1 tbsp Vinegar, Cider
1/2 tsp Sauce, Ready-to-serve, Pepper Or Hot
2 cup Rice, White, Long-grain, Regular, Cooked
2 Cube Stock Cubes

Recipe Directions for Black Beans and Rice

  1. In large skillet heat olive oil.

  2. Cook onion and green pepper until crisp tender

  3. Stir in tomatoes, beans, thyme and garlic salt and cook 3 minutes

  4. Add vinegar, pepper sauce, and reserved juices and continue to cook 5 minutes.

  5. Serve black beans over rice.
