Recipe Ingredients for Black Beans (and rice)

10 oz black beans
10 oz diced tomatoes
2 tbsp cider vinegar
1 tbsp hot sauce
1 cup diced green pepper
1/4 cup diced onion
1/2 tsp thyme
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp olive oil

Recipe Directions for Black Beans (and rice)

  1. Saute green pepper and onion in olive oil until tender.

  2. Add tomatoes, thyme, garlic salt. Simmer.

  3. Add black beans, vinegar, hot sauce and simmer.

  4. Serve over steamed brown rice.
