Recipe Ingredients for Black Beans and Rice

2 cups black beans, rinsed
1 onion, chopped
2 cups chicken stock
1 cup brown rice

Recipe Directions for Black Beans and Rice

  1. cook rice according to package.

  2. In another small sauce pan, place black beans, onion and chicken stock. Simmer until most of the liquid has reduced. About 1/2 hour.

  3. Mix black beans with rice.
