Black Beans and Rice just thrown together.

Recipe Ingredients for Black Beans and Rice Mixture

12 ounce black beans, rinsed and drained
10 ounce tomatoes, diced Rotel
15 ounce chicken broth
1 cup brown rice, uncooked
1/2 tsp garlic
1/2 tsp cilantro
1 dash salt
1 dash pepper
1/4 tsp garlic, powder
1/4 tsp onion, powder

Recipe Directions for Black Beans and Rice Mixture

  1. Cook Rice according to package, use chicken broth in place of water.

  2. When rice is done mix the other ingredients with the rice, only add extra broth if you would like it soupier. Cook for 20 min or so, to the consistency you would like it.
