Black Beans with Cumin and Garlic

Recipe Ingredients for Black Beans with Cumin and Garlic

1 cup Beans, Black, Mature Seeds, Cooked, Boiled, Without Salt
1 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 teaspoons olive oil
1/4 cup chicken broth

Recipe Directions for Black Beans with Cumin and Garlic

  1. Drain and rinse black beans.

  2. In a medium saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat and saute garlic and cumin until fragrant.

  3. Add black beans, broth

  4. Reduce heat to medium-low, stirring frequently until beans are heated through OR, after sauteeing the garlic and cumin, you can place everything in a crockpot on low heat for a couple of hours.

  5. If desired, stir in the cilantro just prior to serving.
