Black beans, brown rice, and vegetables

Recipe Ingredients for Black beans, brown rice, and vegetables

1 cup brown rice
3/4 cup black beans
2 cups mushrooms
1 onion
1 1/2 celery stalks
2 carrots
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

Recipe Directions for Black beans, brown rice, and vegetables

  1. Cook brown rice according to instructions

  2. Slice mushrooms and rinse

  3. Saute mushrooms in 1 tbsp of olive oil + S & P and some red pepper flakes ( 1/16 tsp)

  4. Slice onions, carrot, and celery and rinse

  5. Saute onions, carrot and celery in 1 tbsp olive oil + S & P and the rest of the red pepper flakes

  6. Rinse can of black beans
