Recipe Ingredients for Black Bean Yam Chili

20 oz Ground Turkey
1 tbsp Olive Oil
4 cloves, raw Garlic
1 cup chopped Red Onion
1 medium raw Bell Pepper Red
1 1/2 cup, cubes Yam
2 fl oz Lime Juice, Canned Or Bottled, Unsweetened
1 1/2 cup Petite Cut Diced Tomatoes
8 fl oz Organic Vegetable Broth
4 cup Beans, Black, Mature Seeds
0.33 tbsp Natural Cocoa

Recipe Directions for Black Bean Yam Chili

  1. Heat oil in a large pot on medium heat

  2. Saute garlic, onion, pepper and salt until soft

  3. Add spices and stir to combine

  4. Add yam, cook for 10 minutes more

  5. Add tomatoes, vegetable stock, beans, lime juice, and cocoa powder

  6. Cook until yams are soft (10 minutes)
