Recipe Ingredients for Black Bean Veggie Burgers by Katie

2 cup Beans, Black, Mature Seeds
1 cup Rice, Brown, Medium-grain, Cooked
1 large Egg, Whole
2 medium (4-1/8" long) Onions, Spring Or Scallions
0.5 cup, chopped Peppers, Sweet, Red
2 clove Garlic
1 pepper Peppers, Jalapeno

Recipe Directions for Black Bean Veggie Burgers by Katie

  1. Blend all ingredients (except cooking spray and lettuce).

  2. Form into four patties.

  3. Heat nonstick pan over medium heat and spray with non-stick cooking spray.

  4. Cook patties, about 5 minutes on each side, until cooked through.

  5. Serve wrapped in 2 lettuce leaves each - or on a bun if you prefer.
