Recipe Ingredients for Black Bean Tomato Soup

1 cup dried black beans
2 small russet potatoes
1 medium carrot
8 oz. Hunts Tomato Sauce
4 cups water

Recipe Directions for Black Bean Tomato Soup

  1. Soak black beans 6 hours or overnight - should yield about 3 cups.

  2. Place all ingredients in a slow cooker with seasonings and cook overnight!

  3. I used garlic salt, cumin, chili powder, cayenne pepper, paprika, oregano and dried cilantro.
