Meat to use in taco salad. 1/2 cup for each serving.

Recipe Ingredients for Black Bean Taco Salad (Meat Prep)

8 1/2 oz ground beef, cooked and drained
2 1/2 oz (1 small can) mushrooms, well-drained
1 3/4 oz (1/2 small) yellow bell pepper
11 oz black beans (pre-cooked or can), drained
30 g (1 pkg) taco seasoning mix
180 g (3/4 cup) fat free chicken broth
14 1/2 oz stewed tomatoes
3/4 c tomato juice

Recipe Directions for Black Bean Taco Salad (Meat Prep)

  1. Brown ground beef in large skillet. Drain and rinse well.

  2. Return to skillet and add remaining ingredients, and stir until blended.

  3. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer until slightly reduced. (Should be a little on the watery side).
