This is a great slow cooker recipe.

Recipe Ingredients for Black Bean Soup

2 cups black beans
2 oz ham
2 stalks celery, chopped
1/2 large onion, chopped
3 tablespoons butter
1 clove garlic
1/2 cup dry white wine

Recipe Directions for Black Bean Soup

  1. Soak beans overnight.

  2. Everything goes in the slow cooker with about a quart of water.

  3. Leave it on low while for 8 to 12 hours.

  4. Enjoy!
