Spicy black bean soup! Jalapeno optional. If choosing not to use jalapeno add 1/2 tbsp chile powder for seasoning.

Recipe Ingredients for Black Bean Soup

0.5 tbsp Coconut Oil, Refined, Organic
1 small Onions
2 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
1 pepper Peppers, Jalapeno
8 fl oz Organic Vegetable Broth
3 cup Black Beans, Organic
1 tbsp Tomato Ketchup

Recipe Directions for Black Bean Soup

Heat oil in pot. Add onion and cook until translucent. Add jalapeno, tomato, ketchup, worcestershire sauce, and broth. Cook for 5 minutes. Add drained (not rinsed) black beans. Cook for additional 15 minutes. For thicker soup puree 1/2 cup prepared soup and stir in. Other add ins - lime juice, roasted corn, top with cheddar cheese, sour cream, bacon, jalapeno, etc.
