Recipe Ingredients for Black Bean Soup

1 lb. dried black beans
1 red onion
1 green bell pepper
4 cloves garlic
2 cups ham
1 tbs. olive oil
1 tbs. cumin
2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
3 cups water
2 tbs. vinegar

Recipe Directions for Black Bean Soup

  1. 1. Soak beans overnight.

  2. 2. Put everything in crockpot.

  3. 3. Cover, cook 8-10 hours on low, or 4-5 hours on high.
