black SOY beans, so less calories than regular black beans.

Recipe Ingredients for black bean soup

3 carrots
3 stalks celery
1/2 onion
10 oz black beans
4 oz tomato sauce
15 oz chopped tomatoes
1/2 green pepper
15 oz chicken broth
1 tbsp olive oil

Recipe Directions for black bean soup

Soak beans overnight in water. Drain and rinse. Add water to cover and bring to boil. While beans are simmering, sautee chopped veggies in olive oil until soft, then add to simmering soup. Add more water as needed. Add broth, tomato sauce and chopped tomatoes when beans are soft enough to eat. Salt and pepper to taste.
