Recipe Ingredients for Black Bean soup not canned!

2 cups dry black beans
12 tbsp reduced sodium taco seasoning
1 large onion, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 large tomato, chopped
1 medium carrot, grated

Recipe Directions for Black Bean soup not canned!

  1. Prepare beans as directed and divide. Mash half the beans.

  2. Saute the vegetable with a little water and the taco seasoning until tender. Mix the mashed beans, the beans and the vegetables all together and simmer. Add water to desired consistancy.
