Recipe Ingredients for Black Bean Sauce

1 small onion, chopped
1/2 tomato, sliced
2 garlic clove, minced
1 stalk, scallion
1 tablespoons canola oil
15 ounce black beans,
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoon soya sauce
1/2 cup of water

Recipe Directions for Black Bean Sauce

  1. In a small pot, saute onions, tomato, garlic, and scallion in oil for 3 minutes.

  2. Stir in the remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 20-25 minutes, until heated through.

  3. The result should be like a thick sauce, tastes great with rice.
