Blend depending on how you like your soup. I like mine fairly smooth and thick. The serving size is approximately 1 cup.

Recipe Ingredients for Black Bean and Salsa Soup

30 ounces black beans, 2 cans rinsed and drained
2 cups vegetable broth
1 cup chunky salsa
1 t. ground cumin

Recipe Directions for Black Bean and Salsa Soup

  1. Drain and Rinse Black beans.

  2. Blend beans, broth, salsa and cumin to desired smoothness.

  3. Heat thoroughly on medium heat.
