Basic salsa with black beans. 230g of jalapenos = 8 medium peppers.

Recipe Ingredients for Black Bean Salsa

1200 grams tomatoes
230 grams jalapenos
3 tbs minced garlic
1 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Cumin
1 1/2 cups black beans

Recipe Directions for Black Bean Salsa

  1. Fill stock pot 3/4 full, bring to a roiling boil.

  2. Add tomatoes and jalapenos

  3. Boil for 20 minutes.

  4. Drain and rinse a can of black beans. Put in blender and blend to a puree.

  5. Add tomatoes, jalapenos, cumin, paprika, and garlic to blender and blend to desired consistency.

  6. Put in container and refrigerate until cool.

  7. Salt and pepper to taste
