Mashed Black Beans (canned, unsalted) with quinoa, onion, and garlic powder

Recipe Ingredients for Black Bean Patties

45 grams Organic Quinoa
35 grams Red Onion
1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
2 serving Blue Menu Black Beans (No Salt Added)

Recipe Directions for Black Bean Patties

  1. Cook 45g of Quinoa in water

  2. Drain and rinse beans

  3. Mash beans in a bowl

  4. Add 35g of chopped onion and garlic powder to taste

  5. Add quinoa

  6. Mix ingredients thoroughly and form 11 individual patties (48g per patty)

  7. Cook in nonstick pan with 1/4 teaspoon of oil until patties are browned on both sides and heated thoroughly
