Recipe Ingredients for Black Bean Mint Brownies

1.5 cup Whole Wheat Flour
1 tsp Salt, Table
1 tsp Baking Powder
2.25 cup Sugars, Granulated
1.25 tbsp Cocoa, Dry Powder, Unsweetened
15 oz Black Beans
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
12 pieces Creme de Menthe Thins

Recipe Directions for Black Bean Mint Brownies

  1. Mix flour, salt, cocoa, baking powder and sugar;

  2. drain can of black beans thoroughly;

  3. return bean to can and fill with clean water;

  4. puree beans and water;

  5. add puree, vanilla and one cup of water to dry ingredients, stir;;

  6. mix in the crushed chocolate mints;

  7. pour batter into greased 9x13" pan and bake for 25-30 mins at 350
