Recipe Ingredients for Black Bean Flautas

2 6" flour tortillas
2 oz shredded mexican cheese
1/4 cup black beans
3 tsp vegetable oil
2 tsp egg

Recipe Directions for Black Bean Flautas

  1. Preheat deep fryer to get oil to 375 degrees.

  2. Mash black beans and spread 1/8 cup into center of each flour tortilla.

  3. Add 1 oz. of shredded Mexican cheese on top of the black beans.

  4. Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it up, ensuring that the sides are completely closed. Combine the egg with 1 tsp water and brush on seam to keep it closed.

  5. Deep fry the flautas until golden brown, and drain on paper towels.
