Swanson recipe. Rated five stars on another site. Black beans are equivalent of one can rinsed and drained. Salsa is one cup. Corn is one can, drained.

Recipe Ingredients for Black Bean, Corn, and Turkey Chili

1 tbsp canola oil
1 lb extra lean ground turkey
1 large onion, chopped
2 tbsp chili powder
1 1/2 tbsp ground cayenne pepper
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp dried oregano leaves, crushed
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 3/4 c chicken broth
8 oz Pace medium salsa
1 tbsp sugar
452 grams black beans
437 1/2 grams no salt added whole kernel corn

Recipe Directions for Black Bean, Corn, and Turkey Chili

  1. Heat oil in a 4 qt pan over medium high heat. Add turkey, onion, chili powder, 1 tbsp cayenne pepper, cumin, oregano, black pepper, and garlic powder. Cook until turkey is well browned, stirring often.

  2. Stir the broth, salsa, sugar, remaining cayenne pepper, beans (drained and rinsed if canned), and corn (drained if canned) into the sauce pot and heat to boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover and cook for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbling.
