Black Beans and Peppers in s spicy broth

Recipe Ingredients for Black Bean & Chipotle Pepper Soup

16 oz black beans
49 oz chicken broth
32 oz crushed tomatoes
1 large red bell pepper
1 pepper,+large+3-3/4"+long,+3"+dia yellow pepper
1 large onion
1 cup celery
8 cups water
2 tbsp fresh garlic
2 tsp Chipotle Peppers

Recipe Directions for Black Bean & Chipotle Pepper Soup

  1. Soak beans overnight, rinse and add to large stew pot with all ingredients

  2. Spice to taste (chili powder, pepper, blackening seasoning, onion pwder, etc)

  3. Bring to a boil and simmer on low hear until all tender, about 2-3 hours.

  4. 1/2 way through, mash about 1/2 the beans in the pot to help thicken.
