Recipe Ingredients for Black Bean Chili

1 pound ground beef, 10% fat or less
1/2 cup celery, sliced
1/2 cup onion, minced
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
1 cup water
15 ounce black beans, drained and rinsed
15 ounce tomatoes, no salt added
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 teaspoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon honey
2 tablespoons minced green chili peppers

Recipe Directions for Black Bean Chili

Fry the ground beef in a 4-quart pot. Beak up in small bits as you fry it. Add celery, onion and garlic. Cook all together until the ground beef is well browned. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer over low heat for 20-30 minutes.
