The best, easiest vegetarian chili recipe in the world...from someone who doesn't like vegetarian chili.

Recipe Ingredients for Black Bean Chili

15 oz can Diced Tomatoes, Italian
15 oz can Black Beans

Recipe Directions for Black Bean Chili

  1. 1 can of Diced Italian (basil, garlic and...oregano, I think...) Tomatoes

  2. 1 can of Black Beans.

  3. Add the whole contents of the can of tomatoes.

  4. Drain and rinse the beans

  5. Simmer everything in a pot. It tastes best if you cook it until the tomatoes break down and start to lose their shape a little but all it really has to be is warm.

  6. Add a little crushed red pepper if you like it spicy but be really gentle at first if you haven't used it before because a few flakes can go a long way.

  7. Do not add salt, being canned goods it is a pretty salt heavy dish already.
