Black Bean Chili with Butternut Squash and Chard

Recipe Ingredients for Black Bean Chili

45 oz Black Beans, Canned
2 1/2 cup, chopped Onions
3 clove Garlic
3 cup, cubes Squash, Winter, Butternut
2 tbsp Chili Powder
2 tsp Cumin
2 tbsp Olive Oil
14 1/2 oz Tomatoes Diced No Salt Added
3 cup Chard, Swiss
16 fl oz Organic Low Sodium Chicken Broth

Recipe Directions for Black Bean Chili

  1. Heat oil.

  2. Saute diced onion and minced garlic.

  3. Add chili powder and cumin. Cook 1 minute.

  4. Add Butternut squash. Cook 1 minute.

  5. Add drained and rinsed black beans.

  6. Add diced tomatoes and juices.

  7. Add chicken broth.

  8. Cook 20 to 30 minutes until squash is tender.

  9. Add chard and cook 10 minutes until bright green.
