Recipe Ingredients for Black Bean Chili with Chicken

12 oz Beans, Black, Mature Seeds
32 oz Breast Tenders
1/4 tsp Sea Salt
1 dash Pepper, Black
1 tbsp Olive Oil
2 large Onions
1 1/2 cup, diced Celery
4 clove Garlic
2 chili Green Chilies
3 tbsp Chili Powder
6 tsp Cumin
3 tbsp Butter
1/2 cup Raisins
1/2 cup, chopped Carrots
3 tbsp Cocoa, Dry Powder, Unsweetened
1 1/2 tbsp Coconut Oil, Refined, Organic
1/4 tsp Cinnamon, Ground

Recipe Directions for Black Bean Chili with Chicken

Cover Beans & soak overnight, or boil for 10 minutes then simmer til tender, about 2 hours. Put chicken in a pot with 3 cups of water or enough to cover it. Add Salt & pepper. Cover & simmer about 30 minutes. Remove chicken from broth & reserve the broth. Cut chicken into bite size pieces. Saute onion, celery, garlic, & hot pepper in the olive oil until tender. Add chili powder, cumin, and butter, saute' for 1 more minute. Add raisins, carrots, 2 cups of chicken broth, cocoa mixed with coconut oil, and cinnamon. Remove excess liquid from beans, then pour the vegetable & spice mixture into the beans. Add more broth if necessary. Let the mixture cook, covered on low heat for about 45 minutes. Add the chicken, taste for seasoning, & simmer 30 minutes longer. Makes 12 1 cup servings
