So good and filling. Uses 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed.

Recipe Ingredients for Black bean burgers

1.8 cup Beans, Black, Mature Seeds
,5 medium (approx 2-3/4" long, 2-1/2" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Green
0.5 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
3 clove Garlic
1 large Egg, Whole
1 tbsp Chili Powder
3 tsp Cumin
1 tsp Hot Sauce Louisiana
0.5 cup Bread Crumbs, Dry, Grated, Plain

Recipe Directions for Black bean burgers

  1. preheat oven to 375 degrees and spray pam on cookie sheet.

  2. Mash beans until pasty.

  3. In blender or food processor (I use magic bullet) process onion, pepper and garlic until a fine paste.

  4. Add to beans. Add egg and spices. Mix together and finally add bread crumbs. Mix until sticky. Divide into 4 patties. Place on cookie sheet and bake 10 minutes each side.

  5. Very good with salsa!
