Black Bean Burgers Recipe

Makes 4 servings



Simple and fast. I usually topp with pico de gallo or a little cheese and eat with some flaxseed chips or tomato wedges.

Recipe Ingredients for Black Bean Burgers

1 tbsp olive oil
1 onion
1 garlic clove
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp parsley
1/2 cup fresh carrots
1 1/2 cup cooked black beans

Recipe Directions for Black Bean Burgers

  1. mash the black beans and set aside

  2. chop carrots, onion, and garlic finely

  3. sautee carrots, onion, and garlic for 10 mins in 1/2 of olice oil

  4. when veggies are finished mix w/ mashed black beans

  5. add cumin and garlic salt

  6. form four patties on lightly oiled baking sheet, brush remaining oil on top of bean burger patties

  7. broil for 5 mins then flip and broil other side
