Yummy black bean burgers that don't fall apart!

Recipe Ingredients for Black Bean Burgers

6 cup Beans, Black, Mature Seeds
1 cup onion
2 cups oatmeal, dry
4 tablespoons mustard
2 tsp cumin powder
2 tsp chili powder
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 cup shredded carrots
8 cloves garlic
4 tablespoons ketchup

Recipe Directions for Black Bean Burgers

  1. Saute the chopped onions and garlic with scant olive oil. When done, process all ingredients in food processor. Add salt and pepper to taste.

  2. Shape into 1/2 cup patties. Place on greased cookie sheet.

  3. Pan frying in non-stick skillet gives a yummy crust, but you can also bake at 350 for 20 minutes.

  4. Freeze well!

  5. This was modified from Moosewood black bean burgers. I doubled the recipe (to save time and have instant meals!) and reduced the oats! (I reduced the soy sauce to 2 Tablespoons)
