Recipe Ingredients for Black Bean Burgers

16 oz Black Beans
1 egg Grade A Large Brown Omega-3 Eggs
0.5 cup Bread Crumbs Plain
0.6 medium (approx 2-3/4" long, 2-1/2" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Green
0.5 medium (approx 2-3/4" long, 2-1/2" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Red
0.25 large Onions
3 tsp Sauce, Ready-to-serve, Pepper Or Hot
1 tbsp Chili Powder
0.106 oz Cayenne Pepper

Recipe Directions for Black Bean Burgers

  1. Process black beans, bread crumbs, seasonings and eggs together in a food processer.

  2. Dice all the veggies and add to bean mixture.

  3. mix with a spoon.

  4. Form into 4 patties.

  5. They can be cooked any way. Fry, bake or grill them. They come out especially well grilled.

  6. Flip them only once. Don't mess with them too much, or they will break apart.
