Recipe Ingredients for Black Bean Burgers

16 ounce of black beans
1/4 cup diced red onion
1/4 cup diced red bell pepper
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 eggs
1 cup bread crumbs

Recipe Directions for Black Bean Burgers

  1. Rinse black beans

  2. In a large bowl, mash black beans then add onion, bell pepper, cayenne pepper, egg, and bread crumbs.

  3. Blend all ingredients until mixed well.

  4. Form bean mixture into 5 patties and place on a large baking pan/cookie sheet (spray with Pam before putting patties on)

  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes

  6. Take bean burgers out and flip them.

  7. Bake for another 4 minutes or until the outside is a little crispy.
