These are awesome! Dense and moist, sweet and chocolatey.

Recipe Ingredients for Black Bean Brownies

275 g black beans, or one can drained and rinsed
1/2 c all purpose flour
2 t vanilla
1 c splenda no calorie
1/3 c. cocoa powder
3 eggs
1/2 c. unsweetened applesauce
6 T. semisweet chocolate chips, mini size

Recipe Directions for Black Bean Brownies

  1. Preheat oven to 350.

  2. Lightly spray a 8x8 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

  3. In a food processor or blender, mix all brownie ingredients (except chips) together.

  4. Chop on high, for 1 minutes, or more but it should be smooth.

  5. Clean off sides and blend for another 20 seconds. Add the chips in and stir well.

  6. Spread into the 8x8 baking dish.

  7. Bake for 30 minutes, until toothpick comes out clean. Cool for about 1 hour in dish at room temperature.
