Recipe Ingredients for Black Bean Brownie

15 1/2 oz black beans, drained
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp baking soda
3 eggs
1 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 1/2 tbsp applesauce, unsweetened
4 tbsp cocoa powder
1/4 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Black Bean Brownie

  1. 1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease an 9x9 square baking dish.

  2. 2.Blend all the ingredients, except chocolate chips, in blender or food processor until smooth, about 45 sec to 1 minute. pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top of the mixture.

  3. 3.Bake in the preheated oven until the top is dry and the edges start to pull away from the sides of the pan, about 30 minutes.
