Recipe Ingredients for Black Bean and Avacado Salad

15 oz black beans, drained and rinsed
8 oz red bell pepper, chopped
4 oz red onion, chopped
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped
1 avocado, diced
2 oz cilantro, fresh, chopped
4 tbs lime juice
2 tbs olive oil
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp salt
6 cups mixed greens

Recipe Directions for Black Bean and Avacado Salad

  1. Place the first six ingredients in a bowl.

  2. Then, in a separate bowl, whisk together the lime juice, olive oil and seasonings.

  3. Pour the mixture over the black bean mixture. Mound mixture over greens.
