Whole wheat banana muffins, made with oil instead of butter

2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup bananas
1 egg
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/4 teaspoon salt

Recipe Directions for Bittman's Whole Wheat Muffins, Banana

Combine wet and dry ingredients separately. Then combine wet with dry and incorporate with as few stirs as possible. Fill muffin tin, bake 25 to 30 minutes at 375F.
