Drop biscuits made with canola oil

Recipe Ingredients for Biscuits

2 c flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 c canola oil
2/3 c 2 % milk

Recipe Directions for Biscuits

  1. preheat oven to 425 or 450 degrees

  2. stir together dry ingredients

  3. measure out oil and milk & stir into flour, mixing w a fork until cohesive but not stretchy

  4. spoon onto ungreased baking sheet, spacing 1 1/2" apart

  5. bake 15-20 minutes or until golden on bottom and lightly browned on top peaks

  6. serve warm w butter & honey & jam
