Easy to make biscuits for a Saturday morning

Recipe Ingredients for Biscuits

2 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 cup butter
2/3 cup milk

Recipe Directions for Biscuits

  1. Mix dry ingredients.

  2. Cut in butter with pastry cutter.

  3. Add milk.

  4. Mix with a spoon. Then when it forms a clump (it shouldn't be sticky), put it on a floured surface and pat it until it is roughly 1/2 inch thick.

  5. Use a round cookie cutter or glass to cut out biscuits. Put on baking sheet and bake at 450 for 10-12 minutes. Serve warm.
