Recipe Ingredients for Biscuit Quick Mix

8 cups flour
1 1/3 cup nonfat dry milk
1 teaspoons salt
1/3 cup baking powder
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
2 cups shortening

Recipe Directions for Biscuit Quick Mix

Mix first 6 ingredients and sift 3 times to make sure ingredients are mixed well. Add shortening and cut in with a fork, or mix with fingers until all mixed in. Store in covered air tight container, and when you want to make biscuits, just add enough water to form drop biscuits and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
