Recipe Ingredients for Birdseed granola bars

8 oz Old Fashioned Quaker Oats
2.5 oz Millet
2.5 oz Quinoa
3 oz Almonds
3 oz (20 halves) Pecans
1.5 oz Wheat Germ
1.75 oz Sugar Light Brown
3 oz Agave Nectar
3 oz Pure Maple Syrup
2 tsp Vanilla Extract
0.5 tsp Salt, Table
0.5 oz Canola Oil

Recipe Directions for Birdseed granola bars

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat 9 by 13 baking pan with cooking spray. Combine dry ingredients, spread on baking sheet and toast for 15 minutes. Combine wet ingredients in a large sauce pan over medium heat. Stir constantly until brown sugar is just dissolved. Remove from heat. Add toasted grains and nuts to sugar mixture and combine thoroughly. Press into coated baking pan and press flat. Bake at 300 degrees for 25 minutes. Allow to cool almost completely before cutting.
