absolutely delicious light and healthy breakfast, you can add any fruit or berries you like, here i added banana as it's the only one i have in my fridge right now

Recipe Ingredients for Birchermuesli

2/3 cup oats
30 ml lemon juice
4 apples
20 ml almonds
20 ml hazelnuts
2/3 cup yogurt
20 ml of honey
1 banana

Recipe Directions for Birchermuesli

  1. rolled oats shoud be soaked overnight in 1 cup of water, instant oats can be soaked right when you start cooking

  2. place the oats in a bowl along with 1 1/2 lemon juice

  3. grate the unpeeled apples and mix them into to the oats and lemon to avoid discolouration

  4. add the nuts, yogurt and honey, carefully fold in the sliced or chopped fruit

  5. Transfer to serving bowls and decorate with berries!
