This is a recipe from Biltmore Living; it is not mine! I chose raisins because I love them, and CC needed something more concrete than "your choice". Feel free to change it up!

Recipe Ingredients for Biltmore House-Made Granola

1/2 lb. All Purpose flour
1/2 lb. Sunflower seeds
2 1/2 oz. Sesame seeds
5 oz. Powdered milk
5 oz. Nuts, your choice
2 lbs. Rolled oats
1/4 lb. Brown sugar
1 3/4 cups Canola oil
1 3/4 cups Honey
2 cups raisins, your choice

Recipe Directions for Biltmore House-Made Granola

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. Mix all dry ingredients together in a mixing bowl.

  3. Put honey and oil in a saucepan and bring to a full boil.

  4. Pour honey and oil mix over the dry ingredients and mix together until fully incorporated using a wooden spoon or spatula.

  5. Spread mixture in thin layers onto sheet pans and bake until golden brown, stirring often to avoid burning.

  6. Cool and then add in dried fruit and mix together.
