Use beef, deer, or a mix of both meats

Recipe Ingredients for Bill's Chili

1 large white onion, finely chopped
1 large red onion, coarsely chopped
2 lb beef, coarsely ground
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 green peppers, finely diced
30 ounce diced tomatoes, with fluid
2 cups (2 15 ounce cans) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
2 cups (2 15 ounce cans) pinto beans, rinsed and drained
15 ounce tomato sauce
4 roma tomatoes (under ripe), coarsely chopped
2 teaspoons cumin
1/2 teaspoon red pepper
2 teaspoons salt
3 tablespoons chili powder
2 teaspoons basil
2 jalapeņo peppers, finely chopped
3 stalks celery, strings removed and finely chopped

Recipe Directions for Bill's Chili

  1. Brown meat with cumin & chili powder sprinkled over while cooking

  2. Combine all in crock pot and turn pot to low for 8-10 hours
