Old-fashioned cinnamon-raisin cookies! Delicious!

Recipe Ingredients for Billie Drop Cookies

2 cups raisins
1 cup shortening
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
4 cups flour
1 cup walnuts
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice

Recipe Directions for Billie Drop Cookies

  1. Boil 2 cups raisins in 1 cup water for 5 minutes and set aside.

  2. Mix ingredients in order given, except raisins. Combine them with dry ingredients, then add raisins. Mix well and drop onto ungreased sheet. Bake at 350 for approximately 18-20 minutes.
