Recipe Ingredients for The Biggest Loser Turkey Chili

20 oz ground turkey
1 cup onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
3 jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped
1 tbs chili powder
1 1/2 tsp ground cumin
1 1/2 tsp ground coriander
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp marjoram
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
32 oz canned tomatoes
3 cups black beans
8 oz tomato sauce

Recipe Directions for The Biggest Loser Turkey Chili

  1. In a large stockpot, combine turkey, onion, peppers and all spices.

  2. Cook mixture over medium high heat, stirring occasionally, until turkey is no longer pink.

  3. Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce and bring to a boil.

  4. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.

  5. Stir in beans.

  6. Continue cooking for another 5 minutes.

  7. Server topped with cheddar cheese (optional).
